Two icons from the Air Max family are reimagined in the Nike Air Max 97/BW ‘Metallic Gold Red’ sneaker, which combines the Air Max BW upper and the Air Max 97 midsole. Released in November of 2018, this shoe features a leather and mesh construction draped in metallic gold and pops of red at the Swoosh and Nike Air branding. A visible full-length Air Unit continues the gold theme while black details accent the mudguard and tread.
